The tiny bit of power I may be losing due to the mufflers is immaterial on a 900 pound bike.
Thanks Train...appreciated the input!

I've heard some slip ons like the SE Street Cannons sound great with the stock header, but as soon as you remove the cat...not so good.
I put them on my street glide with the cat removed. They are a bit deeper and louder than stock at idle and cruise. They have a mild bark when you twist the wick but not ear shattering loud. I'm thinking of putting in a set of fullsac 2" cores, fr 120 bucks you can't go wrong.

I got CFR slip ons, not to loud but has a DEEP growl to them when you get on it. They are very original sounding too, no other exhaust sounds the way CFRs do.
That's my opinion.

My two favorites are Rinehart 4" slip ons and Jackpot slip ons. Both are excellent performance and quality.

I've had 4" Rineharts on my 2010 Ultra sine early 2011. I still like them and would buy them again.

Lots of good, high quality slip ons out there.
