I dont really know exactly somewhere around 200-250. I usually just use my left hand!

2-people is all it takes. Not sure where you would put a third person. I passed mine thru from the left side with the top going first at an angle. In hindsight coming in from the right probably makes more sense. I carried the weight holding onto the crank shaft and my buddy guided it into place. Just keep an eye on the Gasket between the trans and motor to be sure you don't knock it out of place. Should only take you a few minutes

Never put one on a scale... I would guess around 200 +/- 25lbs. If you get your arms around the base of the V (where the cylinders meet the case) just give it a hug and carry it where you need to be. The importance of the second person is for their eyes and motor guidence, since its hard to see the bottom of the motor while you are in your bonding hug!

Varooom,

Good looking Rig there!

IF I may, what console is that on your Shark?

Good luck with your motor build & swap.

Thanks guys,

Lots of wisdom here, I am ready to get this done. Thank you for the reply's and knowledge.

HarleyCharley: I am a clean freak, its totally filthy. I cant wait to clean that frame.

YB: that is a Yaffe (Bagger Nation) part.
I selected that one because it is metal, most others are fiberglass. It fit perfect, just block and paint.

Time to pull out the wrenches,

Varooom

For frame protection on removal and install get some plastic split wire loom cover to put over the tape on the frame. Less chance of scratching the frame.
