Seeing that Rush, is an actual exhaust manufacturing facility, my educated guess would be the engineering team at Rush.
Rear pipe comes off the head very similar to a Fatcat/Borezilla.
Pipe seems to work well, as do many out there these days.
Many choices, for many folks.

How is Frank's 2/1 when cruising? Too loud to listen to the stereo?

 

Nope, can hear the stereo just fine when cruising, and they don't drone like some pipes I have had, IMHO. But they sound great when you are getting on the throttle.

 

If your looking to go with Black exhaust I'll share a little sumpin with you that you need to know up front. And this is not meant to try to hurt either Rush or Frank but I know for a fact that they've been having major problem with their black exhaust recently. Whether or not the problem is fixed or not is still up for debate. I've seen the results and it wasn't pretty. I also know that Frank has stepped up in an attempt to fix these issues for his customers as well.
