New to me but she's a 97
Hi folks,
New here and to the world of Harley. I'm coming from the super bike zone of Ducati to e exact. I know what took me so long and blah blah blah . lol I have been hearing it for the past few years as most of the guys I ride with have gone to Choppers or Custom Baggers. I finally decided to make the change and got rid of the Duc and purchased a used 97 road king with a couple of mods. The bike has 26" wheel, front and rear air ride, stretched bags and speaker lids. I'm looking to add a nacelle, chin spoiler and wrap fender to clean it up and make it look closer to done up. I didn't think I was leaving Ducati to come to the same level of spending or even more. But I'm here now so gotta see what I can do. What are your recommendations for the parts I have listed? Should I stick with well know brands like Baddad and so on or am I ok going with something from Bike Life Nation on eBay for half the cost? Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Looking to get her ready for this season but not break the bank until we are fully acquainted. Thank you very much in advance for your time and feed back.
PS. I have only been on a Harley for 10 minutes that was last Sunday. lol
