I am avoiding the dealerships like the plague.....or trying to anyways !!

If I happened to walk through the open doors, and found a 'once in a lifetime'
killer deal, I could probably be easily persuaded to talk numbers....

And this is what I'm trying to avoid !!!

Default Great Deal

So, what was the great deal? Enquiring minds want to know.

When you guys say not a cent above MSRP, does that mean no assembly & prep fees?

Dealers will sit back and reap the benefits of having 2 choices for buyer's. Some or offer the 110 kit with purchase or show a discount as trade or discount. They want $$$ on NEW bike purchase period. Key word here NEW bike 16 or 17. MoCo gives dealers new bike availability on really good ones based new volume. Premium bikes equal more $$ bottom line. If you ride a new one and want it tell the sales person to take you to the sales manager. Tell them behind a closed door, you ARE going to buy a bike and someone's going to get my money. Now they will listen. Make your deal your way and be ready now, 16 or 17. Keep telling them someone is going to get my money today and you can give it to someone else! Ride on.

Sorry, I did pay freight and assembly fees. I assume there would be a freight and prep charge with any new vehicle purchase.

The dealer can only try that crap for so long, they need to get the new 17's on the road if they are going to take back the market share lost to Indian and Victory.

I doubt the supply and demand is the same today when I bought my 01 RK and had to take a 1,000 to the dealer only to get a number because they couldn't meet demand. They will be/are cranking 17's off the assembly lines at full production I'm sure.

Oh yea, im sure the are really cranking them out. I was shocked when I saw they had 30 new 2017 models on the floor only 1 week since release. There was tons of people there looking, but from the hour that I was there I was the only person that asked to test ride. The sales guy was sure he had me hook line and sinker. Unitl he told me the price and I said im just here to check it out today, the wife will make the decision later. LOL
