how about a slight throttle surge? that's the best way to describe it....with the wrist steady the bike seemed to surge then coast, almost like it was on cruise.

The surge then coast thing is a first for me that I have heard of.

Others may chime in and respond.

I posted earlier in this thread about going back and forth on this decision. My '09 is now fixed, I put some Pro-Action shocks on the rear last week. It's paid for, I truly thought about upgrading, but naaaa... Can't do it. Like my bike far too much and the cost of these new rides (Not just Harley's) is getting out of control. Thought about upgrading my '07 Tahoe until I seen the window sticker in a new one. Just read an article about Harley cutting 250+ jobs due to dropping sales, Ford slowing production because of dropping sales. Not sure how these companies think people can\will just keep shelling out more and more and more...? I'll keep my cash and fix mine as needed.

Same here but with an 07 Silverado LTZ. There are zero new vehicle purchases on my radar. In fact i doubt i will never buy new again. Let someone else pay the depreciation. Plenty of garage queens on the harley side.
