This is what I found out last year. When I got my EGS taken out by an SUV. I wanted to get back into a touring bike. I didn't care for the glide as it was my first faring laiden bike and really didn't do all that for me. I looked for months waiting for a deal at the dealer and most didn't have any inventory. I went used. Same thing happened when I tried to buy a 16 and get rid of my Ducati. Got great numbers on my trade but no roadkings on the floor. They had to bring one in. Salesman said "Roadking guys are Roadking guys". "The come in and get a new one every so often we move the old one often times within a week".

My answer to the OP's question of Twin Cam or M8?

Neither. Happy with my old Evo. Someday though the M8 might find it's way into my garage. Right next to the Evo Road King.

I've only had my '15 for just over a year. Just finished the last of the work, put almost 25,000 miles on it in 14 months.

Love it. Keeping it. Maybe in a coupla years...

Both of my FM107s make more HP and TQ than the HD Milwaukee 8. Not that there is anything wrong with new HD engine but I'm keeping my older, more powerful engines until they aren't more powerful than the new stuff.

Same here, the M8 is a 'new' single cam Evo after all!

That sums it up well!

Well, it's been like 6 months since the M8 have been out now.

Now the MoCo is out with a new stage III and soon to be released stage IV kits. HOWEVER, there's the EPA campaign and warranty void regarding upgrades with non approved HD parts.

Some aftermarket parts are starting to filter in as well. As rumors have it, next year will be the new frame platform.

As for me, I'm still enjoying the fruit of my 117" Pro race upgrade! Not to mention, I am awaiting for the arrival of my new ported heads to finish up my winter mods for this year!

(Btw- I will selling a set of CVO 110" with upgraded AV&V Beehavies pretty soon.)

My 14 Limited gets me and the wife everywhere we want to go with ease so I see no reason to trade. Now if the current bike starts having any problems then I will get a new one in a heart beat.
