The HO 103 motor is really a good power plant. Should be good for over 100k with proper maintenance. 20k would not bother me, especially if the price was right.

You are also going to benefit from the linked brakes, 6 speed and improved frame including the recent Rushmore upgrades that included a better front end.

Good luck

Default 17s

I rode a new 17 Road Glide Special today...I hate to say it but it really beats the hell of my 103 2011 Roady.
Ride the 17 and if you really can't afford a new one, then get the 15. You'll be amazed at how stable they are on the highway.
The frame difference between the 03 frame and the post 09 frames is tremendous.

Boy, my I suggest keeping that CVO and come up with a down payment. Those 03 CVO RKs are about the only bikes holding their value around here. I've been watching them listed between $12,000 to $16,000. That's what they were worth 7 years ago. At least hold on to it until next May when the riding season gets in full swing.

FYI. I bought a 03' CVO Road King with 22k for 10k this past winter from a used dealer. Doubt HD is going to give you much on a trade.
