After having owned both bikes, I agree completely with your post. But, to keep the comparison in context, a set of used Road King (Ultra) shocks can be purchased for $100. A dealer might trade even if that seals the deal of a sale.

That's a very very good point.. If the other two reasons weren't a turn off, that solves the third problem...I wonder if that would get rid of the downward slope the passenger section of the seat has on the SG then?. My wife wasn't thrilled with that.. Woops, reason 4 ,LOL...

I bought a tour pack for her. Very expensive and hardly ever used since she doesn't ride much and I like the bike better without it.
