Default Vh power duals

I bought my bike in February, it had stock header with monster rounds and air breather done. I had them put in 254e cams. I just put on the powers duals and now their is a lot of exhaust pinging after shutting down, I'm also running a power vision. Why all the noise.

Sounds like the heat shields are cooling down. As they say "it's normal".

mine do the same but I can live with it because the felt heat is much better and the bike runs noticably better.

I don't know why these things are so popular. Lack of ground clearance. Crappie heat shields. The brackets break and they Crack at the cross over.

6 years on my PDs, never a problem. Footboards drag, my pipes no where close. Fit and finish still outstanding. Snarls vicious as hell. Heat reduced to a fraction of what it was with stock and cat. And, like V/H says, the power chamber is the deal.

I have never hit my pipe or anything like that. Sh*t my 2into 2 on my fatboy lo are lower then the power duals and they have never hit either.

Your experience does not mean everyone else will experience the same thing.

The angles aren't exactly the same but there is minimal difference in clearance between the stock and the V&H on my bike
