I have no clue what they charge for it. It's not a really hard job, though.

Absolutely! I spent about a dozen years as an automotive mechanic in the mid-80's-90's and know all too well how bad things can get when brake systems have been contaminated. Not happening on my stuff if at all avoidable!

I flush every 10,000 miles and change the lines every five years.

And you will be changing your ABS unit at 9 o'clock, if you had one.

I'm in Florida and with the heat and humidity I feel its a must to flush brake fluid at the very least every two years....easy to do yourself with a friend....flush the reservoir thur the bleeder.......Just finished the wife's 16 Slim and got some white stuff out of the rear...MOISTURE.....bike has 10 k on it....I also maybe once a year take a turkey baster and pump out the reservoir's and put back new fluid....to fussy, yeah I guess.....

When I bought my 2016 RG with 10,006 miles on it the dealer changed the brake fliud, but not the clutch fluid.

When I checked it, the brake fluid was clear, top and bottom. The clutch fluid? I couldn't see the bottom of the reservor, about an inch deep.

Changed it too.

Very wise - the clutch probably gets more use than the brakes!
