Dealer did the 1K, I run it 2K miles but Im partial to mobil 1, now that Im changed over I will follow the regular scheduled route.

Mobile 1 states can be run in all 3 holes. I have always changed at factory intervals but sometimes I just don't want to take it in and get it changed!

 

Same here, run with the best.
When new, I changed mine to M1 at 1K, now it's every 5K.
Different types of Mobil Syn goes in all my engines, and I have quite a fleet of 'em! Never an issue.

Mi computer has the same problem.

 

I've run Mobil 1 20-50 in all 3 since I bought my RKC. Change it as near to 5K as I can.
no hiccups, no issues, just smooth sailing.

 

I change mine twice a year. Once in May and again late November/early December. Usually ends up being around 3K per oil change. Sometime 4K.

 

When I had my '08 Road King I did Mobile 1 every 5k.

Since I just got this bike and changed the Syn3 to Mobile 1 at 22,000 miles... My next change will be 25,000 miles and then I will get back to my 5k schedule...

My question is do all of you do all 3 holes every 5k?

I did, but I have a friend who said they only did the oil every 5k and the Primary and Tranny every 10k

Depends on how I feel, since we aint talking much oil and I like to wrench on my Harley ............... And no it aint a waste of money if it makes me feel good [smile]
