Default Need Help, 02 Ultra front wheel swap
I have a 02 Ultra classic, Looking at swapping the front wheel to a 17in 09 street glide. Has anyone done this or know if ill have a problem ?

You would need to change the bearings in the new wheel to the 1 inch that the 02 uses for starters. The brake rotors would be the other issue. Unless you have upgraded to the 11.8" and Brembo brakes of the 08 and up, the rotors on the new wheel will not fit. Depending on the mounting of the rotors you may be able to swap your 02 rotors to the 09 wheels.

Looks like the rotors may swap out.

Yes, the rotors will swap. Using the 1" bearings will require outer spacers .780" wide.

Just checked online parts site and the stock front wheel is only 17".

Mine is an 02. Which is 16in an the 09 is 17in
