my bad, I was thinking the plug at the regualor as in TC. scratch what I said.

Get one of the little chrome arms that hold tension on the plug, like the one linked above. I bought one years ago for my FXRS and have had no trouble since.

If the thing comes loose too many times the arcing inside the plug will eat up the contacts and then you're looking at replacing the stator and the regulator.
