My brother has an 06 black cherry street glide that the dealer was trying to sell for him that was slightly under that price with mods. I think that is why it didn't move as there are deals like that out there.

 

I'm trading for an SG also and wish I could get that deal..that's a pretty big discount.

Buy the streetglide but get the tourpac (detachable) and lowers.. OR just get an Ultra... and a detatchable kit..

So I finally got to the dealer 10 mins before they closed today (traffic home from Laconia sucked). Got a pretty good deal, not quite as good as I thought. It was 11% off of msrp + 600 freight and assembly for a total of $17,266 + tax (I origanally thought they were waving the freight and assemby too...can't be too greedy). I am happy, will know monday if my credit goes through, and if it does it will be mine. I have to thank my girlfriend, she offered to pay 1/2 the payment, the only reason I am getting it. I need to start shopping for a ring soon...mods will be slim pickings for now...lol.

Congradulations on the bike. My ol' lady cut me off from buying anything for the bike. I have a '05 rk custom I have had a year, and have done a lot already. BUT, I think I have a little something coming for Father's Day.

EDIT: BTW, I blame this forum for getting me in trouble. I log on here and see all this neat stuff I want for my ride. It just takes time. And, for some of us, longer than others. Be patient. I hope the credit comes back good. But, don't take a bath on interest rate. If it is your time, you will get it. Just don't be to anxious and take a bad deal. I wouldn't want you to regret your bike purchase. Just my $0.02.
