Water pooling in Rear Suspension arm

I have just purchased a 2018 CVO SG, I recently rode the bike in the rain, After a day sitting in my garage I notice a pool of water under the bike, after cleaning the water up, I noticed the next day the water was there again, this went on fro about 6 days where I would clean the water up only to have another pool the following day. On further investigation I noticed one of the screws holding the belt guard on as the source of the drip. I removed this screw and drained a further 2 liters of water form the rear suspension swing arm. My concern is that the bike was only 2 weeks old and already the water had taken on a rusting color which means that eventually it would rust the swing arm for inside to out. My question is, This is my third street glide and I have never experienced this before. Has anyone else experience this and is there a solution to fix.?https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.hdf...39dd534a89.jpg

saw an older thread in back in 09, from what i recall most drilled a drain hole touch up paint on the hole and throughly oiled inside the swing arm.

Drain hole and fog the hell out of it with WD40 or Corrosion X. If it's a new bike under warranty, take it to them.

I have just read the 09 pooling issue. Disappointed to se HD still the issue on the 2018 touring frame
seems like it all stems from a hole at the front middle of the frame I will try and plug it

thanks for your help in

Wow that’s a lot of water.

Yours is the first time I've heard about this, so I don't believe it's a widespread problem. However you have a warranty......

My 09 had this issue. Did not see it on my 10, 14, and 17. Crazy you're seeing it in 18...

Simple fix though.

My 2013 FLTRU did this I just removed belt guard and drilled hole in it to line up with weep hole in swing arm. Never bothered with paint or oiling inside of swing arm once it is able to drain no longer an issue. Piece of metal that thick won't rust out for decades as long as water can escape.

I did as advised last night, removed the belt guard and found a drain hole under it, drilled a hole in the drain guard to match the location of the hole in the swing arm. hopefully all will be good now.

Thanks to all that replied with help.
