Default Can you identify this seat for me?

I went and bought a seat off ebay without doing homework first. This seat was listed as a Mustang One-piece touring seat 76973. Ive been looking to get the Mustang supertouring seat and when I saw this I offered $300 and bought it thinking it was a deal.
After poking around it appears as if this isnt what they are claiming it is. Either that or its a really old version of the same seat.

Can anyone identify this seat?

Mustang seats would be very well labeled and would also have a vin number, that maybe be a reupholstered Harley seat, you really have to do your home work when buying off ebay

Definitely not a Mustang seat. Looks like an 09 up FL seat. Can you read the numbers stamped on the bottom of that seat? Try doing a search of them with Harley, and Seat included. Good luck on getting satisfaction.

I cannot read it from the pic. I sent a message to the seller. They haven’t shipped yet but even though the pics show otherwise they incorrectly listed the item so I’m going to try and get my money back.

Definitely not a Mustang. As mentioned....the bottom of their seat are labeled mustang everywhere and they usually have a 'stamp' in the vinyl on the outside. That's a stock seat off some FLH. If you used PP you will get your money back. Send him an email through Ebay NOW before he ships this way you don't get stuck with the headache of sending it back. Those emails are all visible through the 'powers that be' at Ebay when they give you your money back....that's why you want all correspondence through the site.
