Default LRS Windshields (Ultra vs Ultra Elite)

Ultra Recurve vs. Ultra Elite Recurve...

Is the Ultra Elite worth the more then double price? $40.80 vs. $92.80...

Benefits? Cons?

Any information would be great!

THANKS!

RON

One is polycarbonate, but you already know that. I have six of their shields, both types of materials. I just buy the cheaper ones now, and the Ultra wide is my favorite. So get two of the cheaper ones for less than one polycarbonate model.

Hey HB, what size Ultra Wide do you like the best and which color; med or dark?
What about just the Ultra Recurve? Not as much protection or you just prefer the look? Do you have a couple pics?
Thanks,
John

The Ultra recurve is great, I have the Mega recurve too. However, my 9" dark Ultra wide seems to give me less buffeting, and I like the looks better.

I got the ultra elite because I thought the stronger one would be better. I’d like to try a wide to see if it completely kills the buffering. Not sure I like the looks of it though.

The elite is safer, and will stay clearer, longer if you use a gentle cleaning procedure.

I've had the 8" Ultra Recurve for almost 3 years and it's as clear today as it was the day I purchased it. One or two scratches (my fault), but other than that it's perfect. I've used Novus #1 Plastic Clean & Shine from day one along with a good quality microfiber cloth. I just didn't see the need for the more expensive polycarbonate shield.
