Default Heel Shifter Removal - Cap or Cover for Spline

Has anyone removed the heel shifter? I find it is getting in the way and I would like to remove it, that is the easy part. Is there a cover to hide the splines and dress it up a bit.

yes Harley sells a cover for the splines. Bought it the same day as the bike.

I removed my heal shifter and moved the front to the outer area of splines and used a black hose cut to size to cover the inner area (could use anything of choice). I also have floor board relocation kit moving out so this combo worked best for me.

First thing I do is rip off the heel shifter. Gain a lot of floor board area. And I never use one anyway. I got the cap and leave it in.

I think I like the idea of the spacer and move the shifter out. Would look cleaner. Thanks!!!

Or, Swing the heal shifter strait up, and use it as a hand shifter! Great for finding neutral.

Just kidding...

Same thing I do except I use the rubber cover off the take off heel shifter peg as the spacer. It's ribbed for your pleasure.

I have the Kury 1 inch out and 1 inch forward spacers. Leaving it in and using the cap gives me more foot room. The entire board.

Good idea, I also recommend hose clamping a badminton racket to it to make it easy to grab and to truly show one's character...
