Looks fine to me man.. Ya can never have enough storage and as a back rest thats perfect.

Looks way better than having the trunk hanging way out the back like it needs a red flag...

Is it difficult to mount and dismount with a setup like that?

The setup looks good and I would think would provide excellent back support.
