Won't Start
I have a 2009 Electra Glide Classic. We got back from a long trip a month ago and haven't had time to ride since. I pulled the bikes out of the garage the other day and when I tried to start mine, it sounded like the starter is going but did not engage.
Thoughts? |

Has a full charge, I keep it on a battery tender.

While it's out clean and tighten both ends of all the power cables particularly the frame grounds and the heavy cable at the starter. |
If the starter is going but ain't engaging, that ain't the battery. Starter ring gear mebbe.

Yeah, "starter is going" is a little vague. I don't know what that means.

How old is the battery? Put a volt meter on the battery and hit the start button. If the voltage is below 10v your battery is bad. Check battery and ground connections and starter mounting bolts. |
Is the FOB have a good battery as well?
