For the latest and greatest I.e new season clothing that comes out my dealer Doesn’t have room for the full collection. So you order it from HarleyOnline It’s credited (Billing says your local dealers name) just like you bought it from your local dealer to the dealer, the upside is if you were to special order it from the dealer most will charge you a restocking fee and you might have to take a store credit! if you order from Harley online you take it back to your dealer and Harley credits you back to your charge card. My local dealer sales people get commission when you buy online they don’t get anything off your online purchases.
Boardtracker and Surdyke usually don’t have the latest and greatest listed.

I go to boardtrackeronline.com and Surdyke.com and get the best price, sometimes there is a huge difference between the two. Then I go to my local dealer and tell him to match the damn price and of course they do because they need the money. So I get the best price and free shipping and am in the computer at the local dealer as being a decent customer when i need a favor or some work done.

I have a permanent 15% discount at my dealer for buying the bike and a ppd. service plan there. Both were good deals, but that 15% is worth getting stuff from them. I can look it up on the HD site, call them with my cc number, and get 15% discount, no shipping, and of course tax free in NH!
