I usually order from my local Harley dealer, But they neve have anything in stock, hows the Harley online store, never ordered from them, anybody have experience with them! Thankyou Danny
If you need to order online then give Surdyke Harley a try. Typically 20% off retail, free shipping, no sales tax, but, if they have to order it, it takes extra time to get it.
But, then again maybe the reason your dealer doesn’t have stuff is because people are ordering online.
i buy stuff at my dealer if I think there is an opportunity I might need help with it, or might return it. So, I’m about 50/50 with dealer vs. Surdyke.
I've ordered from them. I had no trouble but it still takes time to get your package and honestly if you just have your dealer order what you want, it will take about the same amount of time to get it and you will save shipping costs. Just a thought.
I usually buy from Board Tracker good prices and great shipping but there is nothing wrong with paying MSRP on accessories if that’s what you desire to have it sent to your dealer
Ive also ordered from the HD online store. No issues, good tracking info, and got my stuff in good time. Prices are comparable with what the local dealer sells for.
I order from board tracker as they have the best prices I can find. Shipping is free if buying $99 worth of stuff which ain't hard to do. This is new as last time I ordered, it was orders over $100 cost $5 to ship. As they are located in WI, and I'm in Central IL, I get the orders in about 3-4 days. With you being in FL, it will probably take longer.
Like others, I typically order from boardtracker for the discounts but they are not very fast. If Im in a hurry for something, and my local doesnt have it in stock, I dont order from the dealer as it takes them twice as long as boardtracker. I think its because they wait for a large enough order to get free shipping.
If i place the order from the moco website, I usually have in in 2-3 days.
I have a permanent 15% discount at my dealer for buying the bike and a ppd. service plan there. Both were good deals, but that 15% is worth getting stuff from them. I can look it up on the HD site, call them with my cc number, and get 15% discount, no shipping, and of course tax free in NH!
