Winner, winner, Chicken dinner. Great combo, the pinlock inside shield also helps with fogging and acts like a cold barrier. I can’t say enough about the transitions shield. My only gripe with Shoei is that they don’t make a transitions shield for the Neotech

I went modular for my full face needs. HJC RPHA 90. It has an anti-fog insert for the shield, along with a drop down sun shield. And my HD branded Sena 20 integrated nicely. It also has that little extra neck padding for a tighter seal, which keeps out the cold and also sounds. It's premium on a budget, so to speak.

Harley modular helmet which works great and seems like a good helmet for the money.

I've got a metric-ton of helmets. There really is a difference between the less expensive helmets Bell, Scorpion and the higher end helmets like Arai and Shoei. The most noticeable thing is interior comfort. Arai and Shoei are very plush, Bell, the padding seems to be thin and you can feel the more dense/harder foam.

Anyways, If I'm taking a long trip that involves alot of highway, It's my Shoei Neotec II modular helmet; Built in tinted shield and integrated (buy separately) Sena SRL. Day type rides on my FLSS, it's the Bell Rogue or Arai Defiant with Sena 20 unit. On my FLHXS for day rides, Scorpion Covert.

HJC CL-17

I've tried helmets costing 5 times as much; however, the CL-17 fits my extra large "round head" perfectly! No pressure points, no headaches.

Every other helmet I've worn, except my 3/4 Sick Lid Summer helmet, has given me a headache after 45 min of riding.

HJC IS-MAX 2 modular helmet. It’s a great helmet except for the noise level.
