Anyone experience wheel hop on their touring bike? twice now I have had the bike set up a wheel hop in a hard right hand turn, hops enough it scares the heck out of me.I checked rear shock pressure and visual inspection of bike cant find anything out of wack. Is this a common occurence and in 20,000 miles I just havent had it happen?

You might want to check the true of the side wall. It might have a air pocket in it..

 

I have just went through this myself. I am not sure what is causing it but it is not fun. I am on a 91 FXR[:@]

 

had the experience last year towards end of riding season with old tires but this spring I put new tires on ........1000 miles no wheel hop...maybe tires????????
