Im about to pull the trigger on the ***** Shiny exchange for wheels, spacers, and rear pulley. Im also considering the front rotor exchange but have a couple questions about that.

Anyone have experience with exchanging their rotors for used polished ones? any warping issues or are the rotors to 'thin' since they could potentially be off a bike with a bunch of miles on it?

Since the rotors are polished, wouldn't you need to scuff up the portion the pads contact so that you don't glaze the brake pads?

And are most of you guys that are running polished wheels using metal valve stems or pull through rubber ones?

Ohh and hey any of you guys that got axle caps from ***** feel free to show em off. I would love to see em since Im considering those as well.

Thanks in advance for your input!!

I used ***** shiny, got both wheels, & spacers, all rotors, lower legs & cow bells. Front wheel had some blemishes in the chrome when I got it, he sent me a replacement. Used rubber valve stems ( only because that is what they had) I would get a 90degree angle for the rear. The pads will wear into the rotors quickly. I used a flush mount axle then u don’t have the (clunky) axle caps.

Thanks, I appreciate it! Where did you get the flush mount?

I put a set of used polished rotors from ***** Shiny on my front wheel. I didn’t do anything to them, just bolted them on and rode. No problems at all. No warping. No glazing issues.

I did an exchange to Black Knuckles with ******* and they were easy to work with and the wheels are perfect. They will get all my chrome and powder coat work moving forward!

Just did the chrome sliders exchange with Joe at ***** Shiny. Best chrome work I’ve ever seen and great guy to do business with. FYI, he recommends not to chrome your existing cans but he’ll supply you with aftermarket if you want those. They looked good as well.
