Default Swapping Rear Rims

Thinking of swapping a new chrome rim onto my 2008 FLTR. I had a pretty good deal from one off a 2008 Nightster. My stock wheel is 16x3.0. The nightster is 16x3.5. Are the bearings different or is it a straight swap? Thanks in advance.

Your wheel has Cush drive. The nighster doesn't.

For 2008 models the cush-drive swaps over, so will fit a Touring wheel from the years 2002-8. Touring wheels from 2009-on won't fit your year. That Nightster rim at 3.5" is tempting, but I'm not sure it is a straight swap.
