Haha, I saw this a little while ago, came back and saw you posted, started laughing. Guess my coffee hadn't kicked in yet!

One of the beautiful aspects of owning a Road King, being able to delete a fairing, if only for a spell.

Nope. I hesitate to say what I'm doing as I really don't want to hear from the naysayers. I'm deleting the fairing on my Electraglide and building a Frankenglide or maybe it's a Franken King.
My original post was asking if the bottom hole on the nacelle is supposed to sit up against the insert in the lower fork mounting hole or if it was supposed to fit over it. I deleted the post as I think I answered my own question. It needs to fit over the insert as a locating pin. Mine looks like they have some burrs on them and are very close but the nacelle won't slip over them leaving a gap at the bottom of the nacelle.

Is that pic from your scoot? While it’s apart are you freshening up the forks with new seals, bushings etc?

Yep, that's in the plans. Currently am running Works springs but may change them out to something else when the time comes.
Thanks,
Rick

Storage in the basement for the time being. I removed it with all of the wiring, speakers, and gauges left in place.
