Default No power to bike

So I just finished installing new handlebars. Before starting I disconnected the battery. I may have not done this correctly, because I didn't remove the fuse. I hear this needs to be done for the security system. Anyhow, now that everything is back together, when I turn the ignition switch there is nothing. No fuel pump sound. No infotainment power. However, the red security light is blinking. I've checked the battery connections and made sure there are no unconnected plugs. Any ideas? Thanks. It's been a long day.

I did not remove the ignition switch. Yes I can turn the bars to the left and lock the fork.

It's as if the bike doesn't detect the key fob. The security system went off when I moved the bike.
