Default Roadking Vs Electra Glide Classic

If you had yor choice what bike would you rather have? I'm thinking about trading my 05 EGC for an 07 RK. I don't think I have the need for a full dresser since the wife doesn't want to ride and I want to go to cleaner style bike- no tour pack on the back. The dealer is offering some pretty good incentives to move the bike. Other option is to buy brackets for tourpack and make it detachable. Still trying to figure out how much I'd miss full faiing and radio on EG. Any thoughts on this would be helpful. Thanks.

well since you asked. I think the Road King is the nicest looking harley ever made. And I own a Road Glide. But I gotta tell ya. A EGC can be stripped down and made into a helluva nice looking ride. Lower the rear, put a Side Kick or bad lander kinda seat on it and put the removable docking hardware on it for the tourpack and it's good to go. But having said all that it is YOUR bike. Go with your gut.

So, the question really is, do youwant a fairing or Not - we can not really answer a question that only you have the answer too - we all have our likes and dislikes but the bottom line really is with what YOU want... might as well ask us all what kind of woman you should get.... Now we could all have some fun with that one...

Life is short - Get what YOU want and NOT what the dealer is pushing... if you settle , soon you will be sorry...

How clean a look are you after? You can buy the detachablekit for the Classic, part no. 53303-07, or simply use the standard detachable kit and mount the antenna inside the fairing, so that takes care of the tour pak.

Add a solo seat of your choise, and ditch the saddlebag guard rails and guard and you have a very clean tank to rear fender. That's pretty much what I have:
