Default 06 Road King lights all flashing

I was moving my Road King Classic around the garage the other day (the key fob was in the house) and ALL of the lights started flashing, randomly. The alarm was not set and has never been used. I put a new battery in the key fob, turned the key on and the lights are all still flashing, randomly. Is there a pin code that needs to be entered? If so, how? thanks in advance for any and all help. regards, Bob

Is the battery the correct on (CR2032) if so open the fob and make sure the plus side of the battery is pointing up, you may have put it in upside down, if you did not know the code before hand not sure you can retrieve it without a good working fob. I'm sure others will chime in.

Default batery

I just checked the fob battery and it is supposed to be + side down. Lights still are crazy tho..: Looking through the owners manual now to try and figure out the pin.

I know mine came new with the code of 31313 that I have since changed, not sure if its a factory or dealer default.

My RK did that as part of the security system. Turn the key switch on and then off with the FOB present. It should quit.

If all else fails, I may have to contact the local dealership for help with the pin as I have no idea what it is or how to use one for that matter

Headlight, running lights and brake light as well or just the indicators?

If the fob and security system is arming and disarmngthen entering the pin code will make no difference. As soon as the fob is "seen" by the bike the security is disarmed when the ignition is turned on usually evidenced by not seeing PIN on the speedo display.

I had my EGC do that once. I pulled the 50 amp fuse. waited 10 seconds and put it back in. Never had it happen again.

Default Got It!!

Plus side of the new battery has to go in the down direction in my FOB. Then press the fob button twice and turn the ignition on and the alarm is now disabled. thanks for all of the input gentlemen.

Since you have a functioning alarm, it’s simple enough to plug a little piazo alarm into it. A little noise to go with the flashing lights.
