RE: Maryland laws helmet, reflectorization?
I ride in Maryland and haven't ran into any problems with reflectorization. I've been past many a LEO throughout MD and DC on my bike wearing all black/dark colorsand not ran into a problem. Just out of curiosity, where are you heading? Maybe I can point you in a good direction if you're looking for good rides on the way to different cities instead of taking the hard slab at 75mph the whole way. Hope this helps.

RE: Maryland laws helmet, reflectorization?
I searched the web and didnt come across anything, but the term is familiar. They use it on Military bases in MD, DC and VA. It refers to the use of a orange vest with reflective materials. They are required to ride on any service installation, but I have never seen or heard of it being a requirement for MD roads!

MD is like Jersey, you are supposed to have a Dot helmet, with a reflective piece of tape on each side of the helment and a piece on the back, so cars can see your head at night. It is an old law and rarely/never enforced, accept if you are going for your license or inspection, only then in all the 20 plus years have I seen it enforced, and that is at a DMV, not by a Leo.
And no, I don't havereflective stickerson my helmet either. No need to worry about it.
