This is great advice Bill, but hard to do when you're blood pressure is at 200 and you want to kill the a-hole.

ORIGINAL: WildBill2566

Best advice is get out of the way as early as possible and let him/her drive out of your life. 30 seconds and they are not even a memory. If you get involved, it will **** you off and put you in a bad mood. If you get involved and it escalates you will always come off worse. There is always the danger that they may intentionally or otherwise come into contact with you, and I'm afraid you aint going to win that one. If you speed up chances are they will also speed up, best option is to safely slow down and move over if possible. I always try and remember that I dont know who I am dealing with on the road, and wont trust their judgement, they could be drunk, drugged, insane, tired or just a plain bad driver. Get em out of your life as early as possible and enjoy the rest of your day.

Just MHO but lifes too short to deal with @r$e#0le$, unless I'm getting paid for the pleasure of course

What is needed is a mini rocket launcher mounted to the front fairing. And one mounted in the rear under the tour-pak. That would get their attention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![sm=badbadbad.gif]

I think WildBill2566 said it best.

The best thing to do is

"Get out of the way as early as possible and let him/her drive out of your life. 30 seconds and they are not even a memory."

What,s bad is when you get pushed out of a lane, then look at the back window of the truck that just cut you off and see the HD logo.

The roads are full of idoit and a$$ holes. We have a road in NC that gores from five (5) lanes to four (4) then on down to three (4) lanes in about a two (2) mile stretch. It is well marked, and advertised a long long time before the merge acutall happens.

But you know the story, someone is always trying to get ahead of the car in front of them, and will zip by in the merging lane to get to the front.

Weekly there are pileups because the merging car tries to force therir way into the flow of the traffic.

As Bill noted, try to get away from the idoits as quickly as possible.

We had one come over on us last week and then hit the brakes trying to get us to rear end him. The wreck did not happend, but he got to look a the muzzle of the Wart Hog through his rear window.

He took off like a shot and never saw him again

I use to keep a pocket full of pennies in my vest when I rode in New York City. Just drop them off the side of the bike. Pennies comimg up off the road at 60 MPH make a hell of a racket. And every now and than can put a hole in some jerks grill.
