You're lucky, you're at the "beginning". You won't have to go Old threads. Just keep checking the forum everyday or every few days and nothing new regarding your model will get by you.

I'm revisiting this after buying and returning countless parts that are 14+ and do not fit. There have to be more and more 24 model owners now going through the same pains.
Handlebars - Different cuts for wires
Air Cleaner - Different
Front Crash Bars - Nope
Audio- totally different in every aspect
Tuning -
Seats - nope
Windshields - nope
Grips - Nope
Paint
list goes on and on its a mission to hunt down what fits, the bikes are drastically different

If an owner doesn't know what he has, how will he know which forum sub group to visit? Does the OP want to keep secret any wisdom gained from previous bikes he has owned by never looking at full forums and contributing? When buying parts from Harley, the parts guy should know what questions to ask to ensure the correct parts. If the on line sellers don't know how to accurately list their parts perhaps a different source would be appropriate and/or a phone call before ordering. This is also the first I have heard of a "running change" in 23. If a CVO has VVT and others do not, just specifying CVO should do the trick for parts.
