IDS stands for what?

 

I had my IDS installed first of the month. best investment I've made so far!! NO CLATTER!!!! The only whining I hear is on this forum. I think there is clatter also. Maybe IDS on their *** might fix that too!! LMAO

 

Just ordered mine today. I am glad to hear all of the positive results. Darn harley all to heck for not owning up to this issue and installing it on every 07 for free.

 

SOmeone please tell a newb what an IDS is.......

 

When I was a noob, I used to hate people telling me to use the search feature of the site, so I wont tell you that all your answers can be found simply by clicking the search and typing in IDS. It sucks when people just wont outright tell you what you want to know, instead, they sarchasticlly make jabs at you when the answer is so obvious. I hated that, and I will not do that to you.

 

Wow a whole 48 posts and you are throwing "Newb" around, man that takes some sack.lol. i will be the first to admit i dont know a whole lot about our favorite pastime. but i am here just like you and the "newb" trying to find helpful advice.

Arm wrestled my dealer on the IDS thing today. He wanted to give me 20% off, but I got it for $252 installed. Used the Zanotti trump card. Dealers will complain about Zanotti's discounting to the mother company and will get their hand smacked hard, and soon.

 

Looks pretty cool, but how could this affect the problems you mentioned (my bike doesn't clatter or make any other unexplained noises andI can run at 2200 RPM all day if I want).

 

Anyone install the IDS that did not have the clatter and other issues, I have no problem with mine and thought I had a smooth ride. Did it improve the allready geat ride to a superb ride?
