I'm curious how the Solo Touring seat will work out ... will wait for new post from you. Other than the obvious, what are the differences between a Solo and a Dual?

According to Mustang rep. the solo seat is able to set down and back farther into the bikes frame giving tall guys the leg room. The one peice 2 up seat cant do that and was meant more as an OEM replacement with the added Mustang comfort over stock. If you look at the mustang web sight and compare the two variations, you will see how the passenger pillon raises up and over the back of the riders seat and where the extra back suppost comes from.
Anyways, I expect to be waiting 2-3 weeks for this swap to take place and will post again when it does finally arrive.

Here is what the first one looked like on my bike.

I just got off the phone with the folks at Mustang and they said that ALL the seats have about an extra inch and a half of foam and that would raise you up about an inch. ... I hope your rep is right ... and will be waiting to find out ... (thanks!) ....

I bought the Sundowner for my 05 FLHRI Road King and took my first long ride yesterday on it. It is so much better than the stock seat. I really like it.
