Well, I just took my bike in for it's 10,000 mile service. I couldn't be happier with my RK Custom. After 6 months and 10,000 miles I know I made the right choice. Just thought I would share a good response about our dear HD bikes. Harley rules

$300 sounds too low for a 10k service. What did that dealer charge you for a 5k service?

RE: 10,000 service
Maybe some models are different but unless I am missing something the 10,000 mile service for my 2006 Road King doesn't seem much different then the normal 1000 or 5000 mile service.
The only thing I see listed for 10,000 miles that isn't in the 1000 or 5000 mile check is change the spark plugs and check the engine mounts and stabilizer links.
If you normally do your own service then this one is no more involved. I sure can't see why a dealer would charge more for it. (Well, I guess I know WHY)
