PHOENIX HARLEY DEALERS SERVICE

RE: PHOENIX HARLEY DEALERS SERVICE
Bikers Bay on Bell Rd is awesome.
I was in Phoenix for Bike Week this spring...brand new bike, and I wanted to dump the oil.
So I stop by; the owner's orange Road Glide is parked outside, but they're closed!
He's only there waiting for a crew to install a new floor.
"What the hell," he says; "Pull her in and I'll do it for you myself."
Awesome guy...he does the work, then tries to give me a DISCOUNT!
I tipped him heavily and went back to the rally.
Anyhow, I would recommend this guy without hesitation.
I wish I could remember, I think his name was Robert.

Hey Black Flag, glad you had a good experience at LVHD. They didn't use to be that way but they did a large personnel turnover and got some decent managers. I live in 'vegas and am glad to see the changes. If your ever coming this way, give me a PM, love to show you some great rides in the valley here.

RE: PHOENIX HARLEY DEALERS SERVICE
I ended up going to Biker's Bay on Bell and I gotta say, I am extremely impressed with the customer service and pricing. After my bike got pulled into the bay (which you can see through a window or walk back into if you want to watch) this guy walks up and introduces himself. His name was Tim - the owner. I had a great conversation with him and he helped me out with a few tips. I can spot the BS'ers a mile away and he wasn't like that at all. Neither were the service guys in the bay. Nice surprise as I end up going to far too many places where I know more than the ppl working on my stuff - GAWD I hate that! BB also carries Amsoil and that made me happy too since I wanted that in my bike. Only negative is that they were out of 20w-50 for the motor side. They had the 75w90 for the trans and the techs recommended Drag Specialties dino oil for the primary. I ended up with crap Castrol in the engine (my choice) - which I will change out at 3500 miles anyway.
The price was so good, I ended up buying some Kuryakan grips which they installed for a minimal charge.
I will definitely return for things I can't do myself.

Black Flag,
The gentleman you spoke with probably was Jim Moore. He's one of the owners and rides the orange Road Glide. Biker's Bay now has three locations. Two in the Phx area and one in Tucson. I know Jim from when he worked at Hacienda HD. I'll mention your comments to Jim the next time I see him! They beat the dealer on prices any day!
