I wouldn't go so far as to dis Jesse's talent. The guy is a top notch fabricator. I have seen him throw together pipes / tanks / fenders and do work with an English wheel that only a truly skilled craftsman can do. The fact that he turned it into something as huge as he did, became such a brand name and bagged Sandra Bullock to boot says a lot for the guy. He's no dumby... But that road glide is fugly as hell.
If I was going to try and dump something that has an apparent value just because some famous persons name was attached to it, Ebay's probably not the place I'd try. Maybe he should sell it at one of those collector auctions where there's more money than brains.
Jesse wouldn't be caught dead on that bike, the last thing he would have is BIG WCC logo on the saddlebags. How did it end up in Groveland???!!!!
Jesse does have a bagger...it's a beat up ex-police(FLHP) bike with stock birch white paint.
I guess I'm in the minority. I actually like the flat black paint. The pinstriping and logo work is a little much, but all in all I like it. I also happen to think Jesse James is a pretty cool cat. Nobody can deny his skills, and I have personally seen him be very patient and respectful to a lot of people in Sturgis, and not in his own booth but out on the streets. Can't say that for a lot of those builders.
NO problem - Exactly the right name for Krylon and magic-marker. I think that was JJs intent (probably the shop beater/parts runner/loaner) and the guy who's trying to sell it missed the point.
