Default My home brew filler lights - I'm also cheap

I also couldn't see spending 300 bucks on signal lights. So I made my own to. I used Super Bright LED trailer lights and fabricated a bracket from aluminum angle. About 30 bucks total

I agree. Those look awesome! Do you have the brand and part number by chance?

Thanks... I have had a lot of compliments on these. I think they came out great too.

Here is the link to the lights.

https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...eds/1567/3593/

I used a piece of 1-1/2" aluminum angle from Tractor Supply.

The wire I ran along the saddlebag support brackets and plugged them into the rear tail light base. Fortunately, I had 2 wire connectors to plug right into the base which allow them to run as signals and stops.....

Here's the sketch for the bracket

I was about to start making the LED brackets for my road king and just realized you added those to your existing filler plates. I need to make a set of filler plates before I add/change my extra brake lights.

Peanuthead,
If you are referring to my LED lights, I'm not sure what you mean by the filler panels. There was no panel there, it was stock, what came with the bike. The aluminum bracket, was the filler. I bolted it right to the brace on the inside of the oval opening.

Yeah. I don't have those on my bike. But I will use most of your measurements to make mine.

Default My next project... on the cheap

5 dollar gutter screen from Home Depot. Now, for a few rainy days so I can remove the fairing and install the lower vent screens.
