You gotta have something way wrong, because mine is WAY f'ing better than stock.

ABSOLUTELY no comparison ~ NONE!

If I were you, I'd call them. Are you sure you got the right kit for your year model bike? THe late model HK head unit is different.

Mine is an 05 with the older unit.

Sorry to hear you're having a bad experience, but something is just not right.

ok please excuse me I was wrong about the manufactuer of the speakers. The speaker set-up I saw is the POLK. They make very good speakers for cars. The web-site for them is here: http://secure.netsolhost.com/177731....=AudioUpgrades

Hell of a lot cheaper than hawg wired also!

The base website for the speaker systems is www.hellsfoundry.com

ORIGINAL: Harleypingman

bcollida: Sorry for your disappointment. Can you post the part numbers: Hawg-wiredsells a lot of stuff including at least two amps and several different speakers. TIA.
Here is what I ordered:

Products Ordered
------------------------------------------------------
1 x PSC1502 - PSC Series 150W (2x75) Amplifier = $595.95 (In Stock)
1 x CX504-70 - CX Series 4 Ohm Component Speakers = $229.95 (In Stock)
------------------------------------------------------
Sub-Total: $825.90
UPS (1 x 12.5lbs) (Ground): $13.30
Total: $839.20

Of all the money I have pissed away on my motorcycles,I would call the Hawg Wired purchase the most dissapointing.

The results I am getting is more like what I would have expected from an inexpensive speaker upgrade. Maybe guys with older bikes and stock radio's see a bigger improvement. But on my 07 RoadGlide it's not there.

I read alot of posts on this site and went with the Hawg Wired becuase they where termed " In a different league from the hog tunes and JM speakers"

I want to go on the record and say that is simply not true. Hawg wired is better than stock... but not that much better.

Don't waste your money

Have you taken the time to actually speak with the HawgWired (not email) guys about your "issue"?

Before you "go on the record", you might consider trying to figure out what's wrong. "If" your description is accurate, then something IS wrong.

Your experience, regardless of root cause, is NOT indicitave of the product(s), so flaming or condeming it is a pretty lame reaction to frustration.
