Default Rear Lowering Kit for Road King

So I thought I had a Solow 1 1/4 rear lowering kit on order for my 2003 RK. Then I get an email that mail delivery failed and my order apparently didnt go thru. I have tryed to email the guy and those emails wont go thru. Says his mailbox is full. Then i try to call him and I keep getting his voicemail and he dont return my calls. [sm=wtf.gif]So my question is, does anyone know of another good brand of rear lowering kit? I wanted the Solow but I cant seem to get anywhere with this guy.

Another option you might want to consider is replacing the stock rear shocks with a set from a Street Glide. These will lower the ride height of the Road King by one inch, and are readily available from eBay at a good price. I had a set on my Road King and they worked really well.

The dealer that I go to has them hanging on a rack in the store. By the time you pay shipping you can probably buy them just as cheap from the dealer. 12" air shocks from eastern performance cycle. the ride is NOT HARSH like the street glide shocks. Shipping is free also. brother has them and loves em.

Admitingly I am new and always learning more about my RKC.

Please forgive my ingnorance, but what is the point of lowering the rear end? What are the reasons for wanting to do this?

Thanks for you patience.
