At over 80 it may also be par for the course. A batwing gets happy over 80 and you may be experiencing high speed wobble. A tru track will solve it. If you check the manual it will say dont go over 85. High speed wobble is why. Hd just wont tell you that.

 

I'll add to the "check swingarm bushing" crowd, along with possible wheel bearing maybe be beginning to check out on ya...I recently had both issues come to light at 80mph...and it was the second time in my life I crapped my pants...Thanks to a new hub & Sta-bo....I'm good to go...

 

I beleave that Jeff111 stated that it feels like the beginning of tank slap witch would be front tire or triple tree issue?

 

What about allignment of the rear wheel ? I had the bike painted and once I had it back together, I had HD suposedly allign the rear wheel.

Regarding the front motor mount, I am getting more and more engine vibration at idel. HD said it was normal. How can I tell if it is worn, or do I just replace it ?

 

I had an 01 EGC that did the same thing and a no-dought-about-it front neck isloose feeling. Adjusted neck bearings twice by the book.....it was loose rear spokes!
