Great Guys...This has been very helpful, I guess I need to keep in mind comfortability first (for the wife of course he he) then my solo...either way..It's going to be a buetiful thing when it all comes together...
until then... keep your knees in the breeze...And may our Good Lord watch out for you, and protect you...
Blessings, Hogly

It always seems thet we tend to recommend what we ride. Go to a dealer that will let you test ride one or the other and see what you think for yourself.
I bought a UC because the wife and I were going to take trips together. I really like the looks of the street glide and road glide. You will make the best decision based on what you both like.

No question, get the ultra. The road king looks nothing more than a stripped theft bike

Remember you can always take it off but you can't put it on if youhaven't got it.....
Ride well,

RE: Ultra Electra Glide Vrs Road King
The decision isn't too hard.
1. Decide how much time you do 2 up riding.
2. Decide how much time you will be touring with the bike ie, overnight trips etc.
If you ride 2 up less often and take occasional trips the Road King, Street Glide, Road Glide or EG standardis the answer.
If you ride 2 up most of the time and take trips often you will be happier with a EG classic or ultra classic. Don't waste your money on any other bagger because you won't be happy.
Between the Road King, Street Glide, Road Glide or EG standard its about whether you want a fairing and what shape, tunes, and whether you want more hand and arm protection from the elements.
IMHO it's really that easy.
