A while back I started a thread about a HQ beacuse the insurance company is replacing damaged cases...finally got it paid out today. My question - I was considering the SE 103" (23600-00) crank and a BB HQ build. Now I am thinking of scaling back and just doing the BB and keeping the stock crank. Am I making a mistake due to the quality and the opportunity?

It really is a money issue...and that i dont need more than 105-110 hp but I dont want regrets because of part failure. I mean in5-6 yrs, it'll be time to redo it again.

Again, this is not an issue of hp/tq left on the table, this is reliablity/quality of the stock crank being put back in.
