You could fit your whole bike in a ziplock bag now[sm=insomnia.gif]...................I couldn't look at mine like that, but I admire you for your boldness to such a feat.
Goodluck and be sure to post the finished product.............................and all the leftover bolts.

Hey Hardave23, did you get your Forge-Tec Creation 5 wheels from Bart yet? I ordered mine the end of October last year and they have been back ordered since. I am going with the same PM single 6 piston caliper setup as you. I finished my HQ build bout a month ago and chompin at the bit now for my wheels. Good luck with your 113" HQ build, PhilM, Guy and all the guys at HQ are the best.

Way to go Darren, looks like you are going to know your bike intimately before it is all done! When the parts arrive from HQ you will be more than impressed with the workmanship, and the same for Darkhorse' work, they do a great job.
Its funny how a small project takes on a life of its own and just keeps geting bigger, and bigger and bigger and.........

That's awesome Darren!
I have to admit that after just a couple conversations, you have jumped right in. As I mentioned, they really are not that complex and when a guy has experience with automotive engines, these are a walk in the park.
Keep the pics coming, I really dig these threads.
I can't wait to see & hear about the end results!
If you were here, and the build was done.... you could RIDE it! It's gonna be close to 70 today & 80 tomorrow! [8D]

RE: 08 winter project
PhastLap, Bart said that he has about 50 sets of Forge-Tech's on order and has been on them pretty hard to send them to him, so hopefully beginning of March he will get them. Yah this project kinda snoballed, but damn it will sure go like hell not to mention should look pretty sweet too!! I will definately post pics as it comes together, probably won't get the bottom end back until mid March but once that comes I should be able to start piecing her back together
