Default Y-Pipe

From broken to true duals................Anybody run the true dual setup Without the rear exhaust L-Tab bracket? I see the need for the Y-pipe setup.

Where did you source the shield from?

Got my setup from B&E superflowmufflers. Cheaper than Fullsac.

The Extended shield can be purchased from HarleyGoodies. You have to email them..it's 60 bucks and 24 inches long. Mine should be here tomorrow or saturday.

If mine ever cracks at the 'Y' I'm thinking of sealing the 'Y' with a cap weld and see what a home made 2-1 does for performance and sound. Can't be much different than anything you buy aftermarket....If it doesn't make it run squirly whose going to know unless you crawl under it.

For the shield by my L-tab bracket, I used one clamp and made sure it was tight;the clamp on the left side. The right side clamp was right at the u-bend in the new pipe.
