Engine guard mounted lights (68913-98B) Install help
Anyone have this installed on their Street Glides or any touring models. I bought it for the street glide and trying to connect it to the auxilery switch by the battery. The auxilery plug is different than the plug on the light wire harness. Do I have to buy some kind of adapter to make the plug fit. It also comes wired with the on/off switch that I do not want to use. I just want to use the switch that is on the bike. If anyone got this installed I would appreciate your help on this.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I got the power to pull the relay off the headlight low beam wire at the plug using a scotchlock connector.
I forget where I pulled the main power from.
I have it switched on one of the 4 switches I installed in the dash panel.

Yes I made my own wiring setup
the lights connect to a relay, the relay primary is wired to the low beam headlight pulling power from the wire at the headlight socket.
I used a Scotchlock commector ( available at any NAPA store). The relay primary pulls very little power so I am not worried about poping the circuit protection for the headlight. This is the wire you want to have a switch in.
I am pretty sure I pulled the main power off the cig lighter wire. ran a wire from there to the relay. the ground for the relay can go almost anywhere metal.
