That does it. Now I got to borrow some money to get my scoot done. just checked out their 120 and i've got to have it. Along with a Barnett clutch.

Having dealt with Doug and Kevin at HQI can only say really good things, they have been honest, helpful and gone the extra mile.
As far as CigarCritic not getting the numbers, I have to +1 Philm's comments and any host of items will impact the final numbers, clutch slippage, tune, pipes, build, etc. I dont get so hung up on numbers, if it feels good, ride it! As others have said, there are a lot of things to check before you can make a blanket statement that a promise was not fulfilled.

Critic,
I agree with Phil, It is probably sumping (easy enough to check) or the tune, just because it doesen't pop on deceleration and runs ok that does not mean the tune is right. Timing can and does play a big part. What is the mpg you are runing? If it is poor timing can afect this as well. I have to agree the 107 is capable of more than you are getting. The exhaust as every one has pointed out makes a diffrence also. I would look farther. Also that S.E. air cleaner with a paper filter I do not think it will support more than 100hp so you need to look at that as well, sure would suck if it was that simple.

I am sorry I have no #'s but trust me I will...
I am waiting for a Fat Cat Quite and a Primo Pro Clutch...Not having either of these two aftermarket products I can tell you what I know about my HQ 103" tour build I did...at this point.
I have V&H true duels, 2" Rush mufflers, TMax I am tuning stated w/ a #398 base map, SE stage one air cleaner, I have a SE clutch in for now.
I can wick the throttle and the front will rise 6" for sure...I can rev. the engine pop the clutch and bring the front up 16" or +better...I can speed shift to second and front will rise 4" for sure w/ a *** end wiggle...I have ridden 110" SE RKC and it is not as fast as mine.
I am trying not to brag...but jees man I haft to tell someone.

I know what you mean -- this exactly how I crashed my bike -- I have learned my lesson don't do wheelies in short parking lots

Looks like major restriction causing the top end to suffer...
I would do another dyno and first pullt the a/c and see if the curves change and if not...
My main suspicion is the pipes. Pull the baffles and do another run. The hp should climb way up. If it does throw those pipes in the garbage.

Here's my HQ 103 on it's first dyno tune with less than 1000 miles (last spring) Gonna get it checked again; there's more on the table, but I'm sure happy (note the torque at 2200rpm)

Would you please give a run down of your performance accessories...and I assume w/ your bike you bought the 103" sport?

RE: Head Quarters 103 Numbers
My 103 has the following:
HQ heads
SE 51CV/manifold/aircleaner
SE perfect fit pushrods
HQ lifters
HQ 033G cams
HQ ignition
HQ supplied CP pistons at 10.5 static
HQ supplied S&S gear drive
2" Cycle Shack 2-2 pipes
Carefull assembly
Never missed a beat even in 90 degrees heat two-up last summer; a real joy passing in the mountains...
Have switched to V&H stepped drags with quiet baffles.

interesting/excellent discussion going on here --- do you think tru-duals would make that much of a difference?

The bitch of it is Cigar Critic, it sounds like you have a Fatcat that you could put on to find out. Granted you will only find out if the Fatcat is the answer if your tuner is good. Like I suggested earlier in this thread, I would not rule out sumping here.
I don't think those Bub 7s have been out long enough for anyone to confirm how good they are from a performance standpoint.
Just my opinion
