oil temp. guage 08 road glide
 

my bike was installed with a premium oil cooler kit from the dealer at the time of deliver .i just bought and installed a in dash oil temp. gauge. i bought the gauge and brought it home and found out that for 07 and later u need another part , the part was anther 56 bucks on top of the 135, and the only part i used out of the 56 dollar kit was a brass tee fitting to hold the temp sensor. all the other parts were already on the bike from the premium oil cooler kit. outch!!!!!!!!!!
why doesnt the left hand watch what the right is doing!!!!!!!!!!!

I did the same thing to that one back to dealer got one from J P cycle easy hook up

If you haven't already used the kit parts, you can order just the brass fitting from your parts guy.

Or, you could order the part and put it in the kit you bought and return the whole thing.
